FENDER & RANS REAR RACK Install for V2 26 DISC BRAKES

Parts A
Attach the fender and rack adapter on left side of bike. See photo #1. Remove seat sprint brace bolt and the rear disc mount bolt. Place the adapter over the two exposed mounting holes and reinstall disc brake bolt and use one of the new longer bolts provided to attach the the sprint brace over the fender and rack adapter. (See Illustration of parts A).

Attach the fender and rack adapter on the right side of bike. See photo #2. Again remove sprint brace bolt on right side. Place adapterover the two exposed holes, install new bolts provided asing the longer 5mm bolt to reattach the sprint brace over the fender and rack adapter.(See illustration of parts B). Now install the shorter 6mm bolt by placing bolt through one washer then the adapter and frame. Now place a washer and nyloc nut on the 6mm bolt and tighten dowmn all bolts on both sides. This should now extend the frame about 1" further to the rear.

Attaching fender or rack is now possible. See Photos 5 and 6. If Putting both fenders and a rack on the rear, attach fender supports on inside of adapters and main rack support on outside of adapters. (see photos 3 & 4)
Special notes:If installing either the fender or rack alone, install supports on outside of adapters. Attach supports using 5mm bolts, washers and nyloc nuts to secure all supports to adapters.

Special notes: When attaching a rack and the sprint braces are outside of the rack and the normal attachment instructions will not work (see photo #6) a pair of support bars (BPAC0076) must be used to support the front of the rack.

Special notes: Racks being used on
V2 26's where the disc brakes encountered with the aforementioned set-up, a longer bolt will need to be used on left side to attach sprint brace and a 1/2" bushing installed over that bolt on the inside of the bike frame . Then install front rack support, washer and nyloc nut to secure the rack support.(See photo #7)
