| Goal: To reduce weight by eliminating the lower idler and replacing the idler bracket with a smaller one. |

| Step 1: Disassembly |
| Loosen the chain retainer to free the chain from the idler assembly. Remove the idler assembly from the bike frame. Lay out the parts as shown in the picture below. |

| Step 2: Exchange hardware |
| Move the idler and chain retainer to the Rocket rear idler bracket. |
|
|
Step 3: Reassembly |
Install the new idler bracket on the bike frame using the original hardware. Place the chain over the idler and tighten the chain retainer. |

| Step 4: Pat your self on the back |
| Congratulations, you have successfully completed the rear idler mod for your RANS Screamer. Time to go for a ride. Don’t forget to show the mod to your friends so they can marvel at your ingenuity. |
